September, 27th – October, 1st is Dutch National Take the Stairs Week
This week is ‘Take the Stairs Week’ in The Netherlands. The Dutch Diabetic Fund (Diabetes Fonds) started a National campaign on TV and radio. The organization asks everybody to take the stairs instead of the elevator this week and preferably every day after. By exercizing just this little extra it is possible to loose weight and it reduces the chance on diabetes type 2!
Already 440 companies with over 280,000 employees have agreed to join in this initiative. More information can be found here.
